“Toni has a very accessible teaching style which facilitates a genuine exchange of ideas. We left with bulging memories (electronic and biological!) and the promise of further (very valuable) support which we much appreciated. Toni’s attention to detail from the selection of model and make up artist through clothing and on to refreshments was outstanding and made the day go without a hitch. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
If you are lucky enough to have the opportunity to learn from Toni seize it with both hands and a joyful heart - you will not be disappointed!”
What level of experience would I need?
The boudoir photography training day will be aimed at all levels of photographers. Beginners looking to start taking awesome pictures that really make women feel good, right through to the professional photographer looking to take their career into the evolving world of boudoir photography.
So whether you use your camera on manual or semi automatic I’ll be giving you the perfect solutions for every situation. I’ll be taking dedicated time with each person as we photograph our beautiful model so I can really help you get the most positive learning experience from the course.
What camera and lenses do I need?
I’ll be shooting with a Canon Mkiii on the day with mainly one lens, the Canon 50L1.2. There’s absolutely no rules at all though. I’ve possibly shot with every Canon lens going over the years. Not to mention the odd Nikon and Fuji. It’s really not about having the best equipment. It’s about how you see light and use the light to create flattering imagery. The camera is just the tool that records that for you. All I’d say is you maybe better leaving the disposable party cameras for your next night out on the town.
What can I expect to learn on the boudoir day?

- A live shoot with a professional model
- Using light for great posing techniques

Can I use the photos I take on my own website and social media?

“We had chosen Toni as our preferred instructor because of her beautiful images but would we be able to live up to such high standards? I need not have worried, from the moment Toni opened the door to the minute we hugged our good byes I very comfortable. I learned so much and I’ve left buzzing with enthusiasm and excitement for my new venture.”
